Handled Home is a small, locally owned handyman business in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. We collect the minimum we need to give you an estimate and do the work. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone who isn't helping us run the business.

When you submit an estimate request or contact form on this site, we collect your name and phone number (both required), and your email address, job address, and project description if you choose to provide them. If you call or text us at 412-353-5341, we have your phone number and whatever you send us, including any project photos.
Like most websites, handledhome.net uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This collects your IP address, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. We also record a small number of specific actions: clicking a phone number, clicking a text-message link, opening our Our Work page, and submitting a contact form. These are recorded as anonymous events — they are not tied to your name.
We do not collect payment information through this website. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or any government identification. There are no accounts to create and no passwords to store.
We use your contact details to reply to your request, ask follow-up questions, provide an estimate, send a written contract, schedule the job, and follow up afterward — including about warranty work covered by our one-year guarantee.
Analytics data tells us which services people are looking for and which pages are useful, so we can write better ones. We look at it in aggregate, not to track individual people.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not add you to a marketing list without you asking. We do not send mass promotional texts or emails.
Running the site means a few outside companies necessarily handle some data. Here is the complete list.
Our contact and estimate forms are processed by Web3Forms, which passes the submission along to our email inbox. Your form contents pass through their service in order to reach us.
Google Analytics 4 collects the usage information described above and sets cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visits. Google's own privacy policy governs what they do with it.
The site loads its typeface from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google and your IP address is visible to them as part of that request.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and delivered through Cloudflare, which sits in front of it to speed up loading and block malicious traffic. Both keep standard server logs that include visitor IP addresses.
Our email and phone service providers necessarily process the messages you send us, the same way they would for any business.
The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics cookies used to measure visits. There is no advertising network on this site and no cross-site ad tracking. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the site will still work normally. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Analytics entirely.
Browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for honoring it, so this site does not respond to it. Blocking cookies is the more reliable option.
If you text us, we'll text you back about your project. That's the extent of it — we don't run marketing text campaigns. Reply STOP at any time and we'll stop texting you.

Estimate requests that don't turn into work are kept only as long as they're useful, and are discarded when they aren't. Records for completed jobs are retained for business, tax, warranty, and insurance purposes.
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please don't send us sensitive personal information — we don't need it to fix your deck.
This site is intended for homeowners and property managers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Some pages link to outside resources such as manufacturer instructions or municipal permit information. Once you follow a link off handledhome.net, that site's privacy practices apply, not ours.
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. There's no archive of prior versions — the page you're reading is the current policy.
